Your child will practice and compete in the same facility as the NCAA University of Denver Pioneers. Instructed by the metro areas top coaches, players gain advanced skill development and technique with an emphasis in teamwork.
The Junior Pioneer Hockey competitive teams play in the Colorado Competitive Youth Hockey League. New player tryouts are held in the spring, while Team tryouts are held in late August for our Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget teams. The season runs from September through March.

Additional Travel/Team Costs.
The SAVE program offers need-based scholarship to youth athletes at the University of Denver. Youth participants can receive up to half the cost of the activity registration. SAVE applications are available through the Youth Hockey Manager and must be completed and returned no later than September 8th. SAVE applications will be considered complete when all of the paperwork is turned into the Youth Hockey Manager and half of the dues are paid.
