Jr. Pioneer Parking Protocols
In order to park at the Ritchie Center during Jr. Pioneer Hockey practices, games and events, a valid University of Denver parking permit is required for all vehicles. In order to assure that all participants have appropriate parking permits, below is a summary of steps to take:
1.Returning Participants: If you are returning to the Jr. Pioneer Hockey Program, you should have received a new expiration sticker in the mail to apply to your existing parking permit. These stickers were mailed in early October upon completion of all team assignments.
a.IF you did not receive your new expiration sticker in the mail, please email your full name, address, email address and phone number to Graham Johnson at JGraham.Johnson@du.edu. Upon verification of your participation, a new expiration sticker will be mailed to you.

a.Log onto www.parking.du.edu
b.Select “AFFILIATE”
c.Select “ACCOUNT ACCESS”
d.Select “GUEST LOGIN”
e.Select “CREATE ACCOUNT”
f.Fill out the form completely, including vehicle and address information
g.Create your own UNIQUE ID & PASSWORD
h.For “GROUP”, select “RECREATION MEMBER”
i.For “SUBGROUP”, select one of the following
i.Rec - Youth Hockey
ii.Rec - Learn to Play Hockey
iii.Rec - Learn to Skate
iv.Rec - Figure Skating
v.Rec - Adult Sports Ice Hockey
Once you have submitted the online parking permit request, a parking permit will be mailed to your home address. New expiration stickers will be mailed while you are still an active Ritchie Center participant.
3.Temporary Permit: A Temporary Parking Permit can be issued by the staff at the Joy Burns Arena front desk to bridge the time period from when you request your permit to the time you receive it in the mail.
Please note that if you are faculty, staff or a student of the University of Denver, you are required to purchase a permit through the standard Parking Services process. We are not permitted to issue Ritchie center permits to anyone who falls in these categories
