Step #1 - Maintain a Healthy Body Composition
Keep in mind that the best time to tackle body composition problems is the off-season. No one wants the pressure of having to perform a pre-season meltdown!
When it comes to fat loss the key is adding, or retaining, muscle mass. Muscle is the furnace in which fat is burned. Body fat, on the other hand, burns few calories.
The more muscle you have on your body the more fat your body will burn at all times, even at rest.
